Nutts Performance Classics have the pleasure in offering this genuine factory (chassis number 212440 Canley built) Triumph TR7 Convertible 1980. The car has clearly been much loved by its previous owner who acquired the car in August 1990 with just 6 former keepers from new. Mileage is showing 88,000 which i believe to be genuine.
The chassis of this Triumph TR7 Convertible 1980 is solid and indeed the best i have seen with no signs of patches welded anywhere. The previous keeper had the engine overhauled a few years ago and i can confirm it runs like a Swiss watch, starts great from hot or cold with not a hint of smoke or over heating issues (all gauges are working as they should). I can also report this car drives A1 and benefits from the 5 speed gearbox. Other recent improvements include a full stainless steel exhaust and new hood.
Altogether this is a very sound investment for someone and is priced accordingly due to the condition and originality. I will be selling with a brand new mot so it can be driven away by the lucky new owner
Lastly something else to consider is that i have all the necessary ingredients for a V8 conversion that comes in the form of a TR40 (Ferrari F40 replica). The shell is ripe but comes with all the mechanicals and a log book including a modified Rover V8 on a four barrel holley. This is available for separate negotiations as a package deal or can be sold separately.
Please call Gareth or John for details or to arrange a viewing, overseas bidders are welcome.
